Salinity Probe?

Hey all, I got the Apex unit for christmas. Set it up last night, and already loving it!! I am looking into additional parts/probes and I cant seem to find a salinity probe... how do I monitor my salinity with this unit? :wave:

You'll need a PM2 module, the probe, and calibration solution:

Thank you for that! A bit expensive but one thing I noticed it says conductivity probe... is this salinity?

Yes, sort of

It's not possible to directly measure salinity with an electronic instrument. Neptune (& other) controllers actually measure conductivity. Then, based on known factors, can convert the conductivity reading into an approximation of salinity value. With the Apex & PM2, you can choose which value to display... conductivity (in mS) or salinity (in ppt)
