Salinity Question

That's not a real salinity number. Do you mean 1.022 SG? If so then that's a little bit low and yes may cause some issues with sps corals.
 
How are you measuing your salinity? As disc1 stated, that number does not make sense. Salinity is an important parameter for reef tanks and you need to make sure it is within acceptable limits. I would recommend buying a refractometer and calibrating it with a salinity solution and re-measuring it. This will give you a reading in parts per thousand, which should be in the range of 32-35 ppt in my opinion. A hydrometer will give a ballpark idea but I would recommend investing in a quality refractometer.
