Salt creep issue?

So I have a few tanks now and I was chose to re do my pluming on my 20b nano tank. As I got into it I noticed salt creep coming up out the the back, bottom of the bracing. I wiped it off a few times but it seems to keeps happening lol. Am I missing something or am I going to have to replace the tank soon? The tank is perfectly level where it sits (very anal about those things) I looked everywhere and I couldn't find a good reason for this to be happening.

Water can 'migrate' a very long distance and make if difficult to find the source of the water that is contributing to your salt creep. I'd take a paper towel and tuck pieces of it into every corner or gap between the frame and the glass or any other seam like around bulkheads. Even use some tape to it in places it doesn't want to stay on it's own. Wherever the water is coming from should start to become more apparent.

I thought I had a small leak in the left front upper corner of my tank. Turns out the water was getting up on the center brace by the occasional big wave, seeping past the frame there near the center, wicking down between the frame and the glass to the left end and running down the outside at the left end. That was 3 feet from the point there the water was getting out. I lowered my water level by 1/4" and no more leak.

My 125 does that, and it used to drive me crazy. I did the paper towel test and it turned out the culprit was ME!
During tank maintenance, I would slosh water over the edge, where it would run down into the gap between tank and frame, unseen by me. After I was done I would always clean the glass and tidy up the out side. But the water in the gap would take a few days to evaporate, leaving a tiny salt film just about dead center of my front glass.
