salt creep plugging durso hole

i constantly have to clear my durso hole when i hear the sucking sound, has anyone found a solution ? does that salt creep eliminator work in this case?

Mine doesn't clog at all...maybe you don't have a high enough stack above the water line. I have mine sitting about 3 inches above the top of the tank.

that may be, my lights are 3" above water , t-5....hole is probably an 1" above water

Drill the hole slightly larger and insert a piece of small of air line/tubing to raise the opening level.

that just gave me an idea, is there a valve i can put on the line , where i could regulate flow of air instead of twisting top cap on pipe?
