Salt dropped on LTA

Well, while doing a water change, I forgot to check to see if the salt was completely dissolved. I know my bad, I usually mix and let set for a day, but I miscalculated how much I had mixed up.

Anyways, some of the salt fell on my LTA and now he is shrivled up like a piece of rotten lettuce. Any advice would be good.

Thanks

Just make sure the salt isn't still on it -- and hope for the best. Might want to VERY GENTLY blow it with a turkey baster, to make sure it is clear.

BTW, many moons ago I had a good sized piece of salt creep fall on an BTA (( E. Quadricolor )), and ended up losing it.

I have had salt creep land on BTA and Euphyllias and they always shrivel up and look horrible for the remainder of the day. They always recovered the day after but it certainly is not good for them.

Thanks, unfortunately my RBTA got some of the salt too, but is no where looking as bad as the LTA. how long until I should see a swing in either direction do you think

I've had salt accidentally fall on some lps of mine and they looked real bad at first. I found that hitting them with a turkey baster and feeding them a bunch worked well for recovery.
