I have been using this salt for about 6 months or so. I have not tried seachem.

I have used Coralife Salt for years with no problems. Great coral growth SPS, LPS, Leathers, etc.

TM Pro here as well, heavily stocked SPS tank, all looks good.

Give it a try.

I don't think there are any bad salts on the market. They all will work; some better than others. Try a few and see which one your tank likes the most. With regards to price, I purchase a more expensive salt and change 15 gallons per week. In the end, it comes out to $4.90 per water change; this doesn't exactly put a dent in my budget.

TMP is not needed in most tanks the normal tm is all most people need

Oops!! Yeah, I guess that would help considering the title of this thread. I use Marine Environment and purchase it at Premium Aquatics. I make a semi-annual pilgrimage there to save on shipping and they have excellent customer service.

I switched from Reef Crystals to regular tropic marin and have had less problems keeping my calcium and alkalinity up. My corals seem to like it more too. Haven't tried seachem's or TM Pro. I buy what my LFS has in stock, and they always have regular TM in stock.

How does it compare to regular TM?

What is it higher in compared to regular TM and what is it lower in compared to regular TM?
