Yeah Mike Palleta has black sailfin mollys that he has acclimated for saltwater and he says they are algae destroyers lol

I just acclimated 9 mollies, different varieties. Haven't seen them eat algae yet, but there are 4 babies in my sump now.

Also want them for another project. The mollies are great at eating algae. But they do poop alot as someone else mentioned. Guppies are smaller and so are the fry.

If you want mollies. Exotic aquatic has black mollies already acclimated in their live rock bin.
