Salty thumbs. Why do some people have an easier time than others?

Where's the fun and challenge in that?! I and most of us here where to suddenly become wealthy, would still maintain their own tanks! They may be much bigger and full of corals and fish! Lol!

I would just have more tanks to maintain. I enjoy the process. Very hard for me not to tinker, but I think I have done good not to over react, at least chemically. Guy at my LFS says " why treat something that may not exist".
Do I have a salty thumb?
Less than a year in and 5 months on my 75, remains to be seen, but I know it's a marathon not a sprint. I am full blown OCD with a minor in practicing patience.
I am happy every day I wake up and my fish are swimming.

I keep my tank simple no computers hooked up a great skimmer a nice fuge and some LED lites good rodi unit and I never neglect my tank and keep my hands out and never try new products and ignore all the HOOPLA basicly KISS (keep it simple stupid)

one thing I've learned is that many people who "succeed" aren't stubborn and listen to peoples advice (from people who are credible and experience, of course) and do their research. When someone needs help and you offer solution, it's best not to argue. Just say thanks and leave it at that - to listen or not to it is all dependent upon the person.
