Sand Bed Questions Thread Location

I've seen several references to a "sticky" thread discussing common sand bed questions which I believe is in the Advanced Topics forum. I have performed several searches without any luck in locating this particular thread. I was guessing Dr. Ron is the author and thought it may be a locked thread. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Where oh where is the sticky thread titled "Sand bed questions..." that Dr. Ron makes many references to? I am having a heck of a time locating it using the search function for some reason. A date it was started, author, any specifics that would help zero in on the specific thread would be appreciated.

Yes, I have been through Dr. Ron's web site and recently subscribed to his ezine as well. As I searched further looking at previous threads I found a reference to two threads (118418 and 687314). I came across the reference by chance while looking at a thread titled "Pods gone from DSB, now on rocks + air bubbles" started on 12/25/05. I read both and think they are the "sticky threads" regarding DSB's that are seen referenced so often in post by Dr. Ron and others. However, I was unable to successfully follow the link in thread 118418. It looks like others have had a similar problem in the past. Maybe it is the result of changes and / or the creation of Dr. Ron's site that impacted the URL.

Regards and if anyone can check to see if they have success with the link provided by Dr. Ron at thread 118418 that would be appreciated. I'm just interested in knowing what it is on the other end of it.
