just as an FYI, i had one of our local stores order 400 lbs of the #1 sand for me on wednesday afternoon, it arrived thursday ... i paid $7 + tax ($7.42) / bag for 400 lbs ... not a large order, not enough for him to get a quantity discount ...

this post is just for reference ... maybe you guy can work your stores for a better price next time. Thanks again for organizing this, and letting the other club's members participate.
