saty critter question?

I was gonna break down and get a nano stream 6055 and single controller and maybe a rk2 today :( guess I will wait till later this week

I ended up with two 6045s thursday and a Potters Angel, I already have the RK2. Hopefully tuesday my new skimmer will show up here in a big brown truck.

I think you will be happy with the RK2. I like mine, no more mechanical timers that wander off schedule. The skimmer delay is a great feature also.

Sure wish Salty would expand to a second store... maybe on the East side of town! Mentor would make a nice spot for a reputable salt specialist =)

Curious why the RK2 and not an Aquacontroller? Most things I've read about them say they are the same but the AC offers more programming options.

I want plug and play, something easy to use.

Bah... plug and play :) Where is your sense of adventure.. hahahahha

why would you want skimmer delay? whenever I unplug mine or take the cup off of ot to clean it I have to go thru the whole ordeal of adjusting the foam or it just immediately fills and overflpws the cup.
am I doing somethong wrong?

thanks,
Sean

I think the skimmer delay, if like the ACjr, turns the skimmer off for a set period of time so you can feed and not have to remember to turn in back on.

No way! Akron or at least Cleveland should get one. We're starving over here.

Mentor would still be closer then Vermillion for you! Plus they could get Ashtabula and some Erie PA business..... C'mon =)

Vermillion takes about an hour and fifteen, same with Mentor. Perhaps Akron doesn't really need one, but why doesn't Cleveland get one good saltwater store?

If it were me... Cleveland would be to close to Vermilon for a specialty store like salt water fish. A second store would need to be at the frindge of driving distance. Only diehards that know the differance between a great LFS and one that dabbles in salt will make the trip. They could steal a lot of business from RMS and Aquatic Tech and get additonal business from Erie and other areas that are beyond resonable driving distance.... Just my thoughts.
