Saw a nice sps - ID request

Saw this over the weekend at petland (?) already sold :(

It is very bright with LPS like fluerescence

Anyone know what the name of this piece is?

Hydnophora, and it's actually considered to be an LPS.

There's also a Blue version, and a super secret Purple Hydno...

We have a hydno that started as a small frag, maybe a couple inches. Dead center pretty high up and in full T5 light and it has gotten huge... bigger than a grapefruit, smaller than a bowling ball.

It is pretty aggressive and will own just about anything it touches. I do have a funky brown montipora hispidatta (sp?) that grows very close to it without much warfare though.

Hydnophora such as seen in the pic is a fairly common import- don't pay big bucks for this coral.

The blue, purple and pink (if it actually exists) command higher prices.
