Good luck with this fish! I'm very excited for my new pair to be coming in a couple of weeks from Kevin. He has done all of the hard work in the way of getting them to eat, and they are eating pellet and flake pretty well now along with an assortment of frozen foods.
One thing I have found with these fish in the first couple months is that many feedings will be needed. I was feeding 4x per day, but Kevin told me after the experience that closer to 8x per day for the first months is recommended. They are quite personable once used to their environment though.![]()
A pair of these would be nice, good luck with them when they arrive.
I have an automatic feeder that goes off 4 times a day, maybe he is eating pellets when I am not looking. I feed frozen once a day, give nori as well. Right now the only thing I see him eat is pods but he could be munching other food when I am not around. He is in a holding tank and will be for another two months. I am moving at the end of May and I am hoping that he will be eating fiercely by then
