^ that is a Candelabra gorg. I ordered with my LR from TBS nice gorg. the biggest I have in the tank.
I have both the purple sea feather and the purple feather i'll try to get better pics for you soon.

well finally decided on some fish and placed an order form L.A
i got:
1X male Filamented wrasse
1x male linespot wrasse
1x scarlet craner shrimp love these guys. how doesn't tho
1x ocellaris clown that was kinda of a mistake forgot it was in the cart. oh well was prob. gonna ad one any way. love how they swim makes me happy!



also order a coral frag pack from a reefer. will be getting:

green Nepthea - around 5" or so excited about this!

Blue/Brown Rhodactis -

Superman Mushroom -

Green Spotted Mushroom -

Brown Feather Duster - might go in the 20L

Green Toadstool -

Sun coral - a few heads

OK got it my corals from a fellow reefer..

Box of goodies we all love that right!
Everything is going good. He forgot the supper man mushie.
Got a refund so go biggie there.

oh and my L.A order that i am getting tomorrow will be missing a few fish kinda lame still got free shipping but I called today to see if I could add a fish that came available they said order was pulled. then I get a letter around 6pm saying that the order will be incomplete.

I am ****ed as I am getting stock alerts with LA right now but cant do any fish till next month at the earliest to start QT again with vacations and such.

I put my clowns in the tank though so I have to see how they work out so I am sure if whatever was in my tank is gone or not before I drop another 500+ on fish...

Well guys I got in another coral pkg from a reefer. Acans and a trachy. I have to say it was not the best packing job. Got a call from ups saying my box is leaking.

Opened to find this:

No insulation or new papers!! Just corals in a bag in a plastic box with a bag around it.

As you can see lots of water leaked out.

Gonna do my best to save them.

UGH. I would put them in a small container of SW and not into my DT if I were you. If you have a spare tank or such even better. Just in case they are overly stressed or possibly go down the brown jelly disease path...

got the fish order in from La so much better packing. as they should be they are pros.
to bad the whole order did not come in...

gonna have to give them a call and see why an in stock fish did not ship??
and see when it will...got them temp acclimating now will do a nice slow intro.

OK so I got an email last night/eve from LA saying my other wrasse will be here today!
umm OK man good thing I dont work till afternoons..I got the email then had to do a appt. an after they where closed. so what if I was not available??
it all worked out but i could see it not for a alot of ppl.

anyway wrasse is accumulating... the plan was to introduce them at the same time. I think it will still be ok as the other wrasse has been in there for 24hrs guess we will see. hopefully it does good. send good vibes!

I get my orders delivered on Sat only from LA for this reason. Typically gives them an extra day or so to bundle things together. Plus it is really only day I can be home to get the delivery.

I know I am gonna be flames for this but I used live rock from TBS straight from the ocean got a free royal gramma did not have any qt set up so with the rock and fish already in I decided qt was out. Might come back to hang me and that is a decision I have to live with.

So the new fish was having a hard time after a 2.5 to 3hr acclimation time added to DT was on bottom breathing hard. Other fish came by to see him but no aggression at all. Watched for a cpl hrs then had to go to work. Came home no filamented wrasse to be found. Hope he just hiding...

In other tank news got my reef breeders V2 hung form ceiling.
Had to mix to hanging mounts kits to do it. But I like how it turned out.
There is from the ceiling:

I am so glad it worked out this way as I really like it. Much better than the plant hooks I was gonna use then the hanging kit.

loving the hanging lights so much better the the tank mounts that came with the reef breeders V2...

now to get my screen top dialed in. I was debating on going lay on top or inside tank. I went with in side BUT forot to compensate for the large amount of silicone on the SC rimless tanks. so now I need to trim it 1/4" so it will lay inside tank.

i'll post some pics when I have it done.

AND IN OTHER TANK NEWS...THE FILAMENTED WRASSE CAME OUT AND FEED!
yay that makes me so happy. looks so close to the linespot tho..just does not have the purple tail/dorsal fin and his flashes are a slight more red hue.
when shopping i was gonna go with him and a yellow fin. long story short ended up with the line spot and filamented wrasse.
both are such beautiful fish. but look kinda the same...oh well I am glad he is happy and alive.

so now I have:
royal gramma
baby clown fish
male filamented flasher wrasse
male linespot wrasse

in about a month I would like to add
male McCoskers flasher
purple fire fish
midas blenny
fairy wrasse

I like the way you hung your light, much cleaner looking then the plant light hangers I used. Can you adjust them up or down if need be, or are they static?

2) HOW GOOD ARE POCKET JIGS ahhaha...

I used a pocket jig to put my stand together!! Did a SERIOUSLY good job.

And it holds up this 400G... Strong stuff!

Hey homer. No not to worried about pods they eating nice. So i think its all good.
Yeah the lights came out nice rigt. Yes there ajustable maks tank mantance nice i can just lift them up out of the way.

Well tHE ATS is doing Ok. I thinkni jeed to work with it some. The bubbles are not quite going up my surface area. So the HA is growing from the bubble tube.
