scaring off unwelcome hitchhikers

would a high salinity dip of LR I get scare off things like mantis shrimp, eunicid works, bristle worms (I know they are good, but I dont want any big ones in the main display, big ones would lie in fuge), and maybe even hermits, snails, ect? that way I can decide who I want to keep, who I dont want, who I want to keep in the main tank, and who in the fuge. I could also help myself w/ losing critters later to.

would the dip work? how long would I have to keep the rocks in the water?

dip it in seltzer water, that'll run most things out, i wouldn't count on the bristle worms coming out though.

even the larger ones are harmless (till you get overly huge). I've had them over 12" and as fat as a pencil that never harm a thing. it's not likely you'll be having any much larger then that.
