Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp

What's the difference between the Sri Lanka & Indo Pacific Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp? They are the same price on www.liveaquaria.com but the Sri Lanka shrimp are sold out... Also, does the size matter? We're talking a five dollar price difference here. In addition, I have no fish yet so I'm not adding food by hand but should i start adding fish food for the shrimp once their bought? I have a 75g reef with 4 turbo snails & 1 hermit. 100lbs live rock.

I do not know what the difference is between the Sri Lanka and Indo Pacific cleaner shrimp, but I would go ahead and purchase the small size since they grow quickly. I would recommend offering food to the cleaner shrimp since it will not have an opportunity to get leftover food that you would be feeding to fish in the tank. My cleaner shrimp has a huge appetite.

I would also buy a small one. As far as I've been able to figure out they only live about 2 years or less. Thus, a smaller one is probably a younger one.

Definately feed him, preferably something meaty. I've got 1 over three years old.
