Schedule for Reefbreeders Photon 48

Hi folks,

Can anyone share the schedule they are using for a Photon 48 fixture on a 120? Also, I have two single T5 fixtures that I was planning on using as a LED/T5 combo, and then got a 4 bulb T5 fixture that came along with the new tank. Now I can't decide what to use. Would the four bulbs be overkill?

Planning on softies and LPS for now.

I had 2 Photon 32's over a 180g tank (which split last Saturday!). I did a 5 hour sunrise (only blue for the first 2 hours). Then a 4 hour midday at 90% blue and 40% white. Then a 6 hour sunset (last 3 being only blue). My sps and lps did fine.

I'll be getting a Photon V-2 48" for my new 5' Red Sea or CAD Light tank.

If you go to Reef Breeders website, click on FAQ, the second question below the videos, there is a link to a very good schedule that is adjustable to your needs. This is the one that I have been using for several years.

I have a photon 48 over a 150 gallon. 60x24x24. I don't know the exact schedule off the top of my head, but my lights max out at 70% blue and 38% white. I have the blues on, ramping up in the morning for 3 hours. Then the whites on and ramping up to 38%. Once at 38% they run at that setting for for 4 hours in the afternoon before they start to ramp down. Blues are on at night at 60% and slowly ramp down over 4 hours before lights out.

I keep my lights adjusted so its a very blue look. I used to have more whites, but I noticed my corals didn't like it as much. More blue is important.
