Schuran Skimmers

How good are the schuran skimmers? Are they as good as euroreefs or deltecs or H&S's? I have a 55 gallon and I am running a coralife supperskimmer 65 as a hang on which is okay, but I am looking for something a little above. Any suggestions.

Hi,

The Schuran skimmer are extremely well made and fairly efficient units. If you are looking at the Jetskim 150's or 200's then I would say they can pull just about as well as the ER's can, however the smaller units do not seem to be as efficient though.

Do you have the capacity to fit a sump on this tank or do you need to stick with a hang on?

How would you compare the Jetskim 200 to an ER. Model to model?

i.e. The Jetskim 200 is comparable to the ER ??????

The 200 is very comparable to the CS8-2. I have had them both side by side and those two models have went neck and neck. HTH

I do have a sump, but not sure if I would have a enough room. The waste cup, how much room do you need to remove the cup? Would the jetskim 100 or 125 blow away the CSS 65 I am running.
