Meet at the designated parking area of ventura rd and hueneme rd located in Port Hueneme, calif by 10:30 a.m. on Saturday June 10, 2006.

Does that clarify it enough for you?

TOO LATE. :D

Chris,

I'm bringing fish in a cooler to get relayed to Dennis. Do you think it will be a problem to bring the cooler inside? I don't mind if they want to keep it up front somewhere instead of me wandering around their facility with a cooler full of saltwater. :) I just don't think it would be a good idea to leave it in a hot car for several hours.

uh huh! sure!~ "pay no attention to little old me with this cooler. what fish? I had all those fish and corals in there when I came in"
:)

I would think Mary would be more than understanding and accomodating, especially if you are bringing her seagrass goodies!

No problem bringing in coolers. If you plan on buying, you'll probably want to bring one. Otherwise you'll get an old crusty box with no lid for free or a $7 nice box with a lid :)

Thanks, Mary! I'll be the one with TWO coolers, I guess.

Looks like I am getting probably 4 varieties of seagrass in the mail this week; I expected them last week. H. englemanii, H. wrightii, H. decipens and "manatee grass" (not sure of the actual species.) Hopefully they will ship well and I have enough to share, otherwise I may have to nurture them for a while.

Thanks Nicole for being so thoughtful! Scott will be picking up the fish and
transporting in his cooler. Dennis

Hey, it's a long day for the fishies; they need some protection. They are very hardy fish, but there's no sense in stressing them out. I had just planned to deliver cooler and all; I think I can line it with a big bag that is transferrable instead.

Please ask Scott to bring a battery operated air pump if he has one. If not, you can take mine and give it back to me someday.

We could transfer them to one of our fish bags if you'd like. We have bag sizes up to 18" across the bottom.

Thanks, Mary. That's even bigger than my monster 3 gallon bags! Not that they'll need it my that point, I hope, but better safe than sorry.

hey sharkdude,
I was looking over the list and I mistakenly put down my girlfriend's english name instead of her legal name. Her legal name is Na Li Ung, but I said that it was Lina. I was wondering if this would be a problem. I contacted Mary already, but she has not replied back to me so I do not know if it is a problem. Please let me know.

Just got word from Mary that an especially vigilant security guard will be on duty come saturday morning. So do not expect any slack or exemptions, etc.

Come fully prepared with your official photo identification and refrain from any smart *** comments that could be interpreted as securty risks. You will be entering a security controlled port and naval base property and they take things very seriously.

hope to see you all there!

"immediately west of Ventura and north of Hueneme Rd" is here.
