SCMAS May Meeting

I wanted to comment on today's meeting. It was my first time attending to a club like this. And I am happy to say that I have a very positive experience and everybody was very wonderful and friendly!
I think you guys/gals can count on seeing me a quite bit in future.

Oh! There was chili! It was soooooo yummy!!!!! I love it! I hope that the nice lady (I can't recall her name, I'm SORRY) will bring chili to every meetings!! :p

Awesome meeting, and the best raffle I have seen yet, we sold a ton of tickets and thanks to Randy for donating over 10 t-shirts and I think around 20 or so bottles of reef nutrition. I wish I would have won that stained glass, that was a nice piece!
Scott brought some awesome corals, Including a 5" super nice crocea and Russ' blue/green milli I won.

I learned so much about the nutritional needs of a reef tank, and a lot about the general life in the ocean and how it all starts at the microalgae level.

Todd has a very nice tank, house and I had a great time and would always be willing to drive back to pueblo.

Thanks to everyone involved with this meeting, and Randy for flying out on his own dime. It was very informative and a good opportunity to learn some sign language. I think we all will be learning some in the future with our newest member Jinx whom it was a pleasure to meet. I'll post some pic's of the meeting later for those who could not attend.

Great meeting! Thank you Randy for the presentation and all the goodies! Thanks to Scott at ETs for all the cool corals, Tracy for the wonderful artwork and to Todd for hosting. And I also want to thank all the members of SCMAS for your generousity. You folks helped raise $370.00 for the club yesterday. Way to go SCMAS!!!!

BTW, if you guys want to thank Randy again or have any questions that you may have thought of after the meet, I started a new thread in the Reef Nutrition forum. Please feel free to post your comments here .

Looks like it was a great meeting. I was planning on attending, but spaced the fact the My son's soccer game was followed up by there end of season party, and since I am the coach, there was no way I could miss that. Hopefully next month...

Had I have been paying attention...I could have made this meeting. :) I used to see the fliers and they were always in Colorado Springs. The next meeting in Pueblo...I'll do my best to be there.
