Reef Filtration is a hot topic among todays reefers! We plan to discuss the many types of filtration that are available in the hobby focusing on the benefits and pitfall of each type.

Don't forget to bring your water samples to have them tested for phosphate by Steve Garrett.

If you are interested in borrowing the PAR meter, please see Greg Fryling.

Also don't Forget the members only field trip on Saturday February 16th.

For our raffle this month we will be including quite of few photosynthetic gorgonians from KP Aquatics. These gorgonians do quite well in reef tanks with no additional special feeding requirements. Included below is one of the types that will be in the raffle. I have had this one in my tank for about a year , just provide it with medium to strong flow.

Beautiful Greg! Looking forward to winning one of those for sure!!!!

Anyone bringing frags?

I started another thread on some frags I would bring. Without a frag tank , a lot of us just post pictures and bring frags that are preordered.

Steve Garrett attends most of our meetings and he brings his own frag tank with a great selection of mostly SPS for sale at very reasonable prices for good size frags. You can check his website and contact him directly on anything that you see on his website . Hopefully more members will post what they maybe willing to sell as well as trade at our meeting.
