The topic of DIY regulators came up and so in case you haven't already seen this thread I would recommend taking a look at it. Very informative on how to source all the parts you need and build your own quality regulator. I believe I spent a little over $200 to build mine out of high end stuff. Or, you can always contact Alan Le direct and I'm sure he'll sell you one of his builds.
