Scolymia problem

My scolymia got iritated by my clowns when they started spawning. Sand covered my scoly often. To add to this, my wavemaker got busted. Can my scoly recover? Thanks.

or move the Scolymia someplace else and hope the Clownfish don't follow it...

Being that the rest of your corals look ok I'm assuming your parameters are within reason and the lighting is sufficient so the Scolymia should recover given time IMO.

Thanks. Moved the scolymia. The clowns are not hosting the scolymia but pushing sand towards the direction of the scoly. I'm worried about the mouth of the scoly. I know corals can come back from tissue damage. But the mouth looks bad.

How big is your tank? You might want to move the Scolymia a little bit further from where the Clownfish set up shop. Removing one or the other sounds a little rash IMO, especially if there's plenty of space to go around.

+1
My clowns rarely venture more than 6" from where they lay their eggs (unless I put my hand in the tank, then the female attacks relentlessly).

Put the scoly higher on the rocks, away from the sand and clowns.

It's a 127g drop off. I moved the scoly a few iches higher. And it seems to be recovering. No more sand and a little brigther with better flow.
