Scooter dragonets. Can anyone say finicky? Unless you buy or harvest pods, yours is most likely starving.

People are more frequently getting these buggers to eat frozen food and more rarely pellets.

Having mulitiple species of fish, I have stocked an interesting variety of foood to test with my pod addicted scooter.

After trying everything besides pods themselves, I have discovered I food that these guys flip out on. The scooters largest problem is their tiny mouth. This makes catching a shrimp difficult whether frozen or not.

Believe it or not the frozen delicacy for which I type is:
trigger formula.

I think its so ground up an fine before adding gel and freezing that the scooters pretty much inhale it.
I thaw it, and smash it around on the sand. My trigger gets confused because he smells what usually is a cube, so I tooss one in for him to debo.

My scooter is getting more plump than a constant pod diet.. Female...pisces

That was quick...were you watching me type lol?

That's good to know. Mine is a very picky skittish little priss...and so was her late husband. I had 55a gallons of chaetomorpha to support them...maybe I spoiled em.
Hopefully the trigger food doesn't mutate mine into a giant beast. Imagine the appetite of a 10house lb scooter!
They'd eat a june bug every 10 seconds at least.

Mines guarding her pile of pulverized urchin and crab lol. Its comical to see her scare 2you green spotted pufferx and a valentini. All 3 bigger than her

Trade me scooters lol.
Just kidding.
I am swapping her for 2 mandarins. They are less skittish around me.
my psychedellic ate off my finger before ... ate food off my finger before she got some kind of eye injury resulting in death

I'm glad your scooter is getting fat. It's a good sign. These guys are usually easier to get eating other foods, but it often isn't enough to sustain them long-term.

But no bloodworms as I do not feed that.
Me either. Too hard on the fish's insides.
