Picked this baby up for $10 sold to me as blue tort kinda looks like cali tort under blues not sure till she grows out ill keep it posted....any thoughts? Btw.its a bad pic ill post a better one tomorrow

So that's +2 for Oregon tort..nice! You can't really see it in the pic but it looks like it has a tint of green to it same with as the polyps...if u guys have any pix of your colonies or frags it would be nice....

At first glance it looks sort of like a cali tort, but honestly it's too small to tell for sure. what ever it is, you got a good deal on it.

Either way Cali or Oregon it will grow out and look awesome great $10 score!

I'm embarassed to say how much I paid for a piece not much larger than that.

The only thing is, these things grow so slowly, that it seems like it'll be a couple years before it'll be "enjoyable."

Oregon Tort to me... But if it had a tint of green, maybe Cali. $10 is a steal! Nice!

I would have to say Oregon very slow grower. Great buy paid 80.00 for my ORA Oregon tort and it was not much bigger then yours at the time

Sounds like Cali then. I had two of them that grew like WEEDS ... lost both of them simultaneously to unexplained STN though.

finally people are pricing SPS down on the market, woohoo......now if everyone could just forget the profit in this dang hobby and hook everyone up, i think this would be much more fun!


i found when i fragged a bunch of sps for my frag swap i went to, i priced mine so low, everyone else with the same frag couldnt sell.......i meanwhile made out amazing while the guys tryin to sell the same thing for 50$ got nothing lol


looks like an oregon to me, i have cali, the polyps dont look similar. amazing coloration, good score
