Scott's or Exquisite Wrasse?

I have narrowed down my choices to one of these two but can't decide which one. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with either of them and wondering which would be the better choice? Which one would be easier to keep and which one is the more hardy?

The price difference that they are being offered to me is only 15 more for a male or 45 more for a super male. Price is not an issue for me

Another thread about this?

If the supplier can't tell you where they are from...you need a better supplier!
I have a Vanuatu Exquisite that IMO is more colorful than an African Exquisite or a Fiji Scott's !
As for 'Super Makes aka TERMINAL Males', IME, you are spending more $ for a fish that will be gone years sooner than a juvi!

I agree with everything stated here.

Scott is a nice fish but its multi colors become dull overtime.
Also true. The species doesn't keep those bright, bold colors very well.

Decided to go with the exquisite. The lady doing the ordering had also been nice enough to qt the fish for me since I can't get mine setup in the next 25 hours

Scott's or Exquisite Wrasse?

Both are nice, although I prefer Aussie Scott's better specially if you get a female for it but for a little more I like supermale lineatus better.

I had both in one tank. The scotts was a big guy and unfortunately carped surfed when I forgot to put the net on the top of my tank at night. But the scott was very aggressive against other cirrhilabrus. I do prefer exquisite cause this is really nice coloured and flashes alot. So cool seeing him flash.. nice personality..

C. scottorum can be very aggressive with the female being more so than the male. I personally no longer keep this species.

mine are very timid. only been in the tank for 24 hours but they are very shy.

What is the best way to get them eating?
