Scotty & Tammy's 4x4x2 SPS tank

You've done an amazing job with this cube. The coral placement and growth is perfect. The amount of open space lets you appreciate each coral. I'll be using your cube for a model to follow as my cube grows out :) Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much Richard and good to hear of more cube's about too! :)

Congrats on winning the TOTM,amazing tank.I have a 4x4x1.60 (50cms) and I love the size and scaping that can be done. I have just one question I see that you are using two tunze and two returns is that flow enough for your tank. The reason is I am using two MP40 and one WP 40 and have 11,000LPH return split between two returns with a coast to coast overflow. Do you think I am having too much flow. Sorry forgot to mention mine is a BB tank with a similar scape like yours .

Sorry to ask you a question on your thread but I was curious to ask since my tank is of similar size as yours.

Thank you Haksar, I'm a big fan of cubes for that same reason the different scape options.Yes I'm running 2 Tunze 6205 with the one 7000LPH return pump that's spilt into 2 outlets, that's all I've ran since day 1 and has served me well. I would just try the 2 MP-40's to start with I think you may find on pulse setting plus your return will be enough flow.

And it's not a worry asking me questions on my thread that's what they are meant for and I'm happy to help and hope I have.

Thanks again Scott :)

Thanks for the pics, Scott

I like the view from the RHS, that bluish purple stag looks phenomenal, beautiful color and lovely structure. The LHS is quite deceptive :). I expected the rock to be closer to the glass, but there seems to be plenty of swim room there. Excellent, and I'm left with a few thoughts about how to proceed with my own scaping.

Nice deepwaters as well, what colors are you hoping to get out of those?

Yes I have left quite a bit of room on that LHS as I was also thinking of my fish when I scaped this tank as I wanted to leave them plenty of room and some cave's to swim through also. It's the coral that have had something to say about that with how much they've grown.

Thank you mate, hoping the first deepwater to turn a brighter pink with yellow tip as that's the colour it already is and the last pic (Lokani) to turn a nice blue or purple :)

Great deep water additions buddy!
Awesome scott!
Thanks for sharing

Thank you Mike, I've always been a big fan of the deepwater I'm a big lover of their structure so when ever some pop up in my LFS I snap them up and make some room

Awesome pieces, we never get these in Sydney. Sydney lfs don't stock much SPS anymore :mad2:

Cheers Ryan. We don't see them a lot In Adelaide but when they pop up I try to grab them, That's weird I thought you guys over there would get a lot more SPS than us!
