Hey all,
Building out a deep blue rimless 80 gal after taking a 2 year hiatus down in Florida and moving back up north. Hopefully i chose the correct way to attach these photos, and they resized well.

Went with the basic stand build from the guide, since all my 2x4's were off by an 8th of an inch on the sides I used wood glue and extra screws. Let me tell you this thing is rock solid, the height is exactly at countertop height, so if i ever want to turn it into a bar/island that option is always there.

Tank test and fill, no issues.

Skinned with poplar, still making the shaker style cabinet doors.

Not only does the stand make a nice workbench, but i bought those cheap chinese box LED's for 100$, took them apart (i voided the warranty...oh no!) And installed the 4 LED moonlight kit on each end. Since the box around the LED's is metal it will have no problem keeping 4 little LED's cool. Drilled holes in and wired up through the box and out the back.

Filling with water, the overflow piping that came with it was too short so i had to go back to lowes for more crap (cut the PVC pipe and installed couplings to give it an extra 1/2") Along with the overflow gate missing that i had to be blunt to the Deep Blue customer service because they refused to send me one (its on its way)

Tank filled, sand in. Will update once it clears and my second load of rock comes on Friday from Amazon.
This will be primarily an SPS tank, with a few random zoo's or other smaller stuff that i can keep towards the bottom. Once I install the doors, and the water clears i will take some better shots of the entire thing.
