Scratch Removal 375g

I got my hands on an acrylic 375g that has a lot of light and medium scratches on it. At least 3 sides outside and inside need to be entirely buffed. Can anyone suggest a good scratch removal system?...maybe something that attaches to some sort of power tool.

I just used a kit that 3M makes to refinish the surface of my headlights, it was about 16 dollars @ autozone. The kit has a foam sanding pad that different increasing grits of sandpaper velcro to. went from 500 to 4000 and then a polishing compound. I havent tried it on a tank but worked like a charm on my acrylic headlights... here is a link to the product

Sorry to hijack but anyone know of anything like this for glass?

If there is away I would love to hear it as well. I made the mistake of letting the family clean my Starfire glass with a Magnet Cleaner and they didn't think sand between the cleaner and the glass would hurt any thing.

bummer about your starfire, you can't get the scrathes out of glass, for my 300 acrylic when I stared over last fall I had a pro come out & crawl inside the tank & he got his power sander out & sanded it all down, using larger to finer grit paper, looks awesome
