Screen top

I'm in the process of building a screen top for my tank. I'm using the BRS clear screen and picked up the frame components from the hardware store. I had to notch the aluminum frame to accommodate the light bracket. Now I'm worried that the exposed aluminum is going to corrode and possibly get in my tank.

Should I be concerned? Should I just hit the exposed area with some spray paint or something else to seal it up?

No concern at all..
If it was steel then it would rust but aluminum does well in that application

Thanks. I figured I was just being paranoid, but I wanted to make sure.

If it's someplace that it will show, you can touch it up with testers model paint.
