Scribbled Angel?

I just ordered a Scribbled read a bit about it, seems like an easier to keep Angel, but may nip I don't mind him eating my Xenia I dont have any other lps and the xenia is out of control again. I have numerous millis and montis, no "real" sps except Policiporas. Anyways, any suggestion on diet, I feed my Flame Ora Glow and spirulina flakes, cyclo, etc...

thanks in advance
David

Never kept one but they sure are beautiful. I have seen some people keep them in pairs. I would feed most of the large angels a good mix of meaty seafoods, sponge base food, spirulina and other algea. I feed my fish small amounts of everything. Spirulina flake and pellet, meaty based pellet, PE Mysis, Formula 1 & 2, angel formula, algea sheets, enriched brine, chopped squid, clam, fish. I also add selcon, or zoe, and vitamins. I have kept several species of angel with this diet and it has worked for me.

I was going to order one today but the LFS said they didn't have one in although was on their site. Will be very interested to hear how you make out on this so keep us updated. I think the trick with large angels is to get them when they are juveniles. Then they can be trained to eat prepared foods. My juvie Emperor is pretty good. Only thing it will nip occasionally is a an open brain. I think the brains are the riskiest corals with any angels - my coral beauty also nips on it now but only ever since teh Emp went in. Talk about sheep factor. :p

thanks guys

thanks guys

very very helpful info!

I am getting a juvenille for those same reasons, next dog.

I figure this way the worst he might eat is my xenia...needsa trimming anyways.

thanks
David
