Hey SCRK!

The next Southern California Reef Keepers meeting will be Sunday, August 18th, 2013 at Age of Aquariums in Signal Hill!

We are going to try this one more time.

Our guest speaker will be CAD Lights Aquariums who will be talking about some of their products and demonstrating their new skimmer line. They were nice enough to donate one of their new PLS-100 skimmers for our Raffle.

There will be food, drinks and snacks, along with a frag tank for members to buy, sell or trade corals. So if you are a member and have anything you would like to sell, bring it with you. You do not need to be a member to buy just to sell. Membership is just $25 a year.

You don't have to be a member to attend the meeting so come on out!

When: Sunday, August 18th, 2013
Where: Age of Aquarium
2642 Cherry Ave, Signal Hill CA

Time: 6pm-9pm

Remember Age of Aquarium will be giving all members 15% off of all live goods and 10% off of all dry goods.

So if you have never been out to one of our club meetings or it has been a while since the last time you were out you won't want to miss this one.

I want to go to this meeting. I was looking at cadlights skimmers and wondering what the difference is between old generation and new. Looks to be running same pump

I'll be bringing a new member. If you guys have some one who ifs interested in getting into the hobby bring him or her by

Bump for the meeting next weekend.

I want to go to this meeting. I was looking at cadlights skimmers and wondering what the difference is between old generation and new. Looks to be running same pump

I think they are a little different shape and the adjustments are made easier with out the use of a stand pipe. The smaller ones the body rotates to adjust the skimmer, and the larger ones use some type of gear setup to rotate the body. I saw them in action at another meeting but I've never used one so I can't comment on the performance.

I have a new never used MP10 ES. Manufacture date 4/2/13. Not going to use it. $200 I can bring if anyone is interested.

A few frags I can bring to the meeting.

Pink/purple birdsnest small 1.5" $5 medium 3" $10
OG Garf Purple Bonsai small 1"+ $5 medium 1.5+ $10 mini colony $20
Green Slimmer $10
Green Pocilopora $5
Pink Jade 2" $15

I've got a couple of frags of Sunny Delights 3-4 heads $10.00, I finally rescued two pieces of frogspawn that had fallen back behind the rocks, they are coming back but not in mint condition yet 5-10 heads $10.00 each, a piece of Blue Ridge coral $5.00 and a few Acro frags.

Looking for a few small colorful zoas/paly/mushroom/ric frags to fill out my office 3 gal. Anyone have any they can bring to the meeting?

Preferred on rock fragments rather than plugs.

Thanks,
Larry
