They're so colorful and fascinating; might be worth a special biotype aquarium which would be very challenging to keep . I think when they shrink up they're consuming their own tissue for energy as they starve . I have never had one but I've been tempted.

Well compared to Jeff's appopriately-swilly tank it does lol. I can imagine that multiple target feedings of phyto, etc, makes for some clouded water conditions.

by the time I got rid of him the water almost had a green color to it haha
