Sea Cave (Akron) Vadalized....

Wonder what kind of coral it was that they were referring to as the "second largest ever brought into the country" by their wholesaler.

Hi,

Man that's a shame. As a small business owner that's one of the things alway in the back of your mind. Hope they catch the fish robbbers.

Dave

Whata bummer. Well if anybody hears about some fish and coral for sale locally to the shop, you probably know where they came from.

Gesturing toward a small oval-shaped smashed tank, Amy Mills said, ''They even took poisonous lionfish.''

It would be Great to read about them catching the thief at a hospital...

What a horrible thing for someone to do.

Aww man. I remember going into his little shop off of Exchange when I first started in this hobby. This is terrible! Why would they want to kill his parrot??? If I were another LFS owner, I would contact him and get complete descriptions of what was stolen. That way, if anyone wanted to try to sell a bunch of similar stuff, I could contact the authorities.

So sad..not just the breakage of stuff and the theft, but the fact they were killing animals for "fun"

put them in a cage and throw them in a river. sell raffle tickets to cover losses. winner gets to put cage in river all others get to watch

I know he had a Hammer that was unreal huge, not sure if that's what the 35 yr comment was or not. What a shame I just bought my 55g sump from him last month.

Just talked with Steve to offer some help. He said place is a total loss. They broke every tank and display in the place. He said clean up is 90% done, and then he is moving forward. He hopes to be open again soon. UN- F-ing Believeable. We'll have to put him on the list to go spend $$ at when he reopens.

Crazy.... With the swap coming up I would hope everyone keeps their eyes and ears open for any "deals" on fish in the area. I hope they catch these guys... what a shame and just when an Akron store was starting to come around...

Just saw it on tv. Truly disgusting that people like this exist. I really hope everyone in the area helps him get back on his feet

Damn, that sucks so bad. I've only been there once when I was in town for work, but he was a cool guy that I was able to talk to for about half an hour. I wish him the best of luck in rebuilding his shop.

i could understand stealing fish but why break everything? feel bad for the parrot as well. reason why every business should have hidden camras
