Sea cucumber question

I read the other day in an article on dsb's by Simon Garret that both tigertail and black sea cucumbers aren't actually poisonous or toxic whichever applies. It says on Liveaquaria that they are so who's wrong, lol

from what I understand they have the potential to be toxic when they die. but that is just my take on them I am sure some one that knows more than I will speak up

I had a Tiger Tail for years, never had any issue with it.

If LA says it has the potential for be an issue than I would proceed with caution, that just seems like common sense.

I'm not planning on getting either tbh but thought it was interesting that what he was saying goes against the grain.
