Just wanted to know if anyone has a SGW in their tank currently. 5 years ago, I shared something in the link below that I experienced and a few others tried it as well. It worked for some, and others it didn't. So my question is this, does anyone currently have a SGW in their tank and have they witnessed it consuming any pest, nudis etc?

Can't speak for the sea grass wrasse, but I've kept coris, christmas, and six line. None of them touch the nudis. I think they must taste bad to most fish. When I picked them off in the past, I would feed them to my clown fish. My male Clarkii likes them. Same thing goes for monti nudis, my Allardi clown fish likes them. But obviously they won't hunt them down.

Wow, this is a first for me. None of those wrasses touched your nudis? It lends much validity that the same wrasse will not always consume nudis. Like Reefer577 said, could be some are not palatable as others. This is why I come here everyday, the feedback is immensely important. And to hear that a Clarkii and a clown ate nudis, double shocker. Thanks for sharing that.

I've had the same experience as Mucho, my Christmas and Red Coris gobbled them up. I love wrasses for their pest destroying abilities. If I could only keep my Coris from flipping frags, I'd be set.

I'm heading out this weekend to fine one. Not sure which I will get, but they are a must in a tank full of zoas.
