Getting sick of pulling hair algae and like over feeding the tank for the fishes, so I got this.

It looked grayish green at the store. But the colors popped under the LEDs.

Do you have hermit crabs? they will scrape those things off the rocks in no time at all. Also if you use kalk water to top off, kalk will dissipate phosphate and those hair algea will eventually melt away.. but then you will have an nude and hungry animal .. which is a dangerous combination lol

Not though hermit crabs. No kalk, manually top off and two part. Though gfo would support with the phosphates.

Where did you get that little guy Mike?

LFS called Lucky Oceans in the city for $6.50

Cool. Does he eat cyano :D

Have no cyano in the tank.

Lettuce slugs do not eat much algae except bryopsis
I wrote an article about them here http://www.seaslugforum.net/find/11846
That one doesn't look like an elysia crispata from here but it is hard to tell.

If it is a lettuce slug, it is a slug and not a nudibranch, different animal completely.

Is it doing a good job eating hair algae?

Just got in some Dolabella Seahares and they wiped out an inch of GHA in a 20x10 area over night!
