Normally, their hours on a Sat. are 12-7pm, but who knows if they're even open on a holiday weekend..........

Been there twice during working hours, ONCE he was open. Heard from a local he tends to just lock up when he decides he needs to be elsewhere doing something.

I get most of my coral from there. His hours are:
M,W,Th,F,Sa, 12-7
Su 12-6

It is true he does occasionally leave and close up in the middle of the day, but it tends to only be for a short time. Just call the store before you head over. (319)351-3969.

Also, if you don't know about it already, ask to take a look at his sharks in the back! Last time I was there he finally had gotten a second nurse shark and was trying to get them to mate...

Yea he showed me the back and we talked for awhile. It was funny because last time I was there I asked if they still had corals in the back and they told me "everything is up front now"

Last time we were there he showed us the blue print of the outside of the building, (its hanging inside the front door on the right side) Looks way cool, like a Dr.'s office. Looks huge....
He definately needed a large space, and hopefully all of us faithfull GIRC supporters have helped make this possible.
