seabee anemone damaged

I was doing a water change tonight and caught the tips on a very large 10+ inches purple tip seabee anemone. I was wondering do they regenerate or repair themselves? He seems not too bad but he did get a good chunk damaged.

I dont understand, you caught the tips on what? Did it rip the tips off?
If so I would say they will grow back just fine. Just keep an eye on it to see if it goes into hiding to heal. If it does keep feeding it.

I was vacuming the bottom of the sand and got too close to the big guy and kinda sucked him in a bit. I see him now 24 hrs later he looks much better.
