Seachem Matrix Users / Nitrates

[GoVols]

I just started to run 4 liters in a reactor with a 30 GPH flow rate.

Has anybody had enough Matrix experience to say...

"Matrix has worked for me to lower and has kept my nitrates down"

Matrix made it impossible for me to lower no3. Removed it and saw reduction.

Should I still buy it GoVols?

I do have a marine pure block in the sump and before aquaforest when I dosed NOPOX nitrates were always at 0-1ppm.

I think its the transition to AF cuased nitrates to go high upto 25-40ppm. Have decided not to spend any money but patiently wait till everything dies [emoji13]

I reckon NOPOX just pampered us n our fish in terms of feeding as its definitely not natural and AF method is totally natural. If a start a brand new system it will be totally AF!!
