Seachem Tidal Gray Coast Sand

Any opinions or experience with this stuff? It looks near black in color and the sand particles are pretty fine. The bag states that it is an all natural calcite substrate, then goes off on a rant about how wet, so called "live" sand basically sucks skimmate (I already knew that). What do all of you think about this sand?

I bought one bag. It cost me $7.50(after tax) per 22# bag. Tough price to beat, if you ask me... I'll try it out in a 10 gallon first. One bag should yield about a 2" sand bed in a 10 gallon tank.
