Seaclone junk?

I can grab this Seaclone 150 pretty cheap. I am guessing from what I have read that it isn't all that great. My question is: Should I wait for a while longer (been looking for a good bit) and hold off for an aqua c or a bak pak or something of that quality or go ahead and get the Seaclone? I currently do not have much as far as corals go but I do want to heavily stock this tank with fish. Any suggestions are welcome. Oh, and its only a 36ish gallon aquarium and I will eventually be putting in a 10ish gallon sump or refugium.

Also, I am not a big fan of bubbles in my tank and have heard this is a problem... have not looked into a solution to this though.

If you can get the seaclown for about $20 or so, it would hold you off till you could get a better skimmer. I am running a seaclown 100 on my 30 gal. It works fair after changing the air adjuster valve. It will dump micro bubbles in my tank from time to time. I would still recomend a better skimmer then a seaclown, but if you can get it cheap the maxijet pump it comes with would be worth it.

I use one (I think it's the smaller one) on my 20. I modded the impellar with a needlewheel and it pulls some nice skimmate considering what it is.

I really wouldn't recommend one of these skimmers for anything more than a 20 gallon.

Have had one on a 55 for almost two years now. Looking for a decent one now. Hind sight 20\20. Lost to many corals due to on and off skimming, more off than on.
