seagrass/macro lighting ?

someone told me that if you have seagrasses they need to be under MH lighting but macro can be kept under less intense light..
is this so?

i have caulerpa, codium and another macro or two under t-5's but i also put some shoal grass in there as well.... is that not enough light for it?
