Seahorse Death. Internal Parasites? What to do?

Another advantage to the hospital tank is that it is barebottom and you can see quite easily if it poops or not.
Personally, I never sedate when I tube feed a seahorse.

Sadly, the little H. comes died while we were sleeping last night. Woke up this morning to find him laying on the bottom of the hospital tank with his tail curled up. Perhaps he was just too far gone when we fed him, so maybe we shocked his system with the food. I'm not sure.

I want to thank everyone for their help and support while my husband and I were trying to save this fish. Due to the difficulty we had with our two H. comes and them being WC, we have learned that any future purchases will be CB and eating frozen food. I wish that we could have saved these two, but I sincerely believe we did everything in our power to try to.

Luckily, the H. erectus that is in the display tank is doing GREAT. You can't stop it from eating and looking wonderful. I will post another thread asking about the best places to obtain others of this species.

Thanks again.
