seahorse pouch problem

my male erectus seahorse keeps opening his pouch and bending in an L shape. It looks like he is trying to expel something out of his pouch. He has been doing this for a few days now but he is still eating and doesn't seem to be having any buoyancy issue. what should i do?

Sounds like a normal self flushing of the pouch, especially if it is pursuing a female. Mine routinely flush and inflate their pouches in the mating ritual.
