After Picking up corals and algaes I plan on getting the seahorses going for next week!

Wish me luck and any info is helpful, especially on ways to keep calm while acclimating them.

I'd try blowing a fan either on your sump or the top of your tank and see if you can cool it a few more degrees. Every degree over 74 is going to greatly increase your chance of making your seahorses vulnerable to bacterial infections. If it were my tank I'd not have the emerald crab, or any crabs for that matter in with the ponies.

I was weary of the crabs but, I have seen more tanks with crabs and seahorses than tanks without crabs so I am going with popular vote this time.... And I have the heater set on 76 in the sump, the temp stays at 75 in the main tank. Besides that you think they will be setup well in the tank?

For a 55 gallon I don't think you have enough CUC. You only have 8 snails, that's not really very many although it may be enough for this month, I would plan on getting more each month as the tank gets more established

I was thinking of a larger CUC until the algae was wiped out over night... I haven't seen any types of algae in the tank beyond coralline... I'm sure once I get a bio load some will show up. So we will see thanks!
