Seahorse Tankmates

Apart from mandarins and pipefish which other types of fish can be kept safely with seahorses. Also what types of corals are seahorse friendly.

Certain gobies are considered safe. Some corals such as LPS, mushrooms, or polyps may be considered safe. You can find all the types of fish & corals that are safe to use with seahorses here:

the fish thing depends who you talk to, many non-aggresive fish can work. excellent fish for seahorses are gobies, cardinals, dartfish, and stuff like that. corals just need to not have stinging tentacles. gorgs are useful holdfasts. zoos, leathers, and some sps will work. clams are not good, they can clamp tails, but most softies and sps are good. most lps have sringing tentacles. o ya, NO ANEMONES!!!!! have fun!

I see you posted pipefish in your original thread. This is very risky business since they are both from the same family and carry different immunities and different pathogens. It's similar to mixing two different sources of seahorses or two different types of seahorses. Unless you're very advanced and fully understand the risks and what to look for when mixing the two, I would shy away from the pipefish as a tankmate.
