I have a 55 gallon reef tank and I was wondering if you can put anykind of seahorse with 2 baby percula clownfish, baby Blue hippo Tang, 2 mandrins, Yellow watchman goby, 2 Cleaner shrimps, 1 coral banded shrimp, 1 pistol shrimp. I saw a video on youtube that had seahorse in with a varity of fish in with them and I thought they had to be by themselves or with something like mandrins. Any help would be great!

A video of my reef tank 5-18-09/ Please rate it if you have time.
Thanks a bunch.

Your tank is already overloaded so don't put seahorses in there as well.
A mixed tank is not recommended for seahorses, not even a tank with different species of seahorses. Also, tank temperatures are recommended to be kept at 74°F for horses.
Tank is too small for a hippo, and also too small for mandarins unless you are prepared to supply a heck of a lot of the food they need for long term survival.
As the clownfish get older, they would be too aggressive for horses.
Seahorses need a passive tank or they will be out competed for food.

in addition to what rayjay has mentioned, cleaner shrimp tend to be a bit too insistent in their cleaning habits and many peeps have had to remove them from their SH setups.

i can tell you from experience, coral banded shrimp (CBS) get big and mean...i had one the size of my hand for about 8 years in my reef and it would snap at and grab any fish that came close. a slow-moving or hitched SH could get hurt pretty badly by one.
