In Memoriam
A little history behind me and my reefkeeping expierence. I started a little less than three years ago with a 20 gallon nano tank. That tank was a good introduction however i quickly learned that I needed bigger to enable myself to keep the fish and coral that i wanted to maintain. After about four months I upgraded to a 72 gallon bowfront which i keep from Feb 08 until Sep 09. I personally have a love of tangs and in order to keep all the ones that I wanted it was obvious another upgrade was needed. I Started combing the local reef forums and craigslist and came across a 150 gallon RR at a steal of a price. So I jumped on it. I assembled all the necessary equipment over a few months and finally assembled my new piece of the ocean in Sep 09.

I am not sure how most of you are able to assemble your tanks and get all those great pictures. I seemed to get obsorbed in the process and forgot to take pics so all you will recieve is the end of day pic.

So here are the pictures of my current set up:

Looking good sean, plan on running the same bulb/ballast combo, what reflectors are you using?

If its 72x18 and a 150 it should be 30 inches tall. No biggy just an fyi. Tank looks good. I like the way you left the rockwork nice and open.....it will help as those tangs grow they will enjoy the swimming room.....

i may be off in the measurements i will recheck when i get home and have time. i have never been a fan of the giant wall or a tank of all rock it isnt exactly what i wanted but it is close so until i decide to disturb everything it will do.

as for the bulb ballast combo i really like the color and output so i think i will stay with them as i am a creature of habit.

and the reflectors i am using are the reef optic 2 reflectors
