Meet at Seascape Studio between 6 and 7:30 PM and then cross the street for some food and brew at Growler's Pub. See ya there:beer:

Glad you can make this one, Nick. God willing and the creeks don't rise, and the store is open, we will be there for sure:beer:

Pretty excited actually, Its the week after the All-Army Combatives Championship and I'm off the next day, so I can finally eat, drink, and be merry

I think I might get one of those cards and start working towards my Growlers Mug :D

I may actually be able to make this one. May even host afterwords if anybody is interested in seeing my young, humble tank and having a few cold ones.

I thought you lived North of Alton? Did you move?

My stomach is growling for some Growlers. Nook, I'm ready to eat like a wookie and put back on the 10 pounds I've lost in the past month.
2 1/2 weeks!

Yeah, we moved about 2-3 months ago. I am probably 5 mins or so from Growler's now. Verified with the wife she doesn't mind folks over after eats. Will have to verify once I know I will be in town on the 7th. It's looking good so far. I'm not sure what can be said on the boards, but I hope anybody that stops by enjoys local brews

ebius shoot me your number... if everyone is still hanging out by the time the wife gets outta work... I'll try and stop by, text ya for the scoop.

Hi Starr,

to the SLASH forum on ReefCentral!

Please feel free to start a new thread and tell us a little about you and your system.

Hi there!

I was just trying to find a tank progression post by you to see your tanks. :) I had a great time last night. It was a pleasure to meet everyone. I'm going to be looking forward to the next pizza night.

Please feel free to start a new thread and tell us a little about you and your system.
Where should I post this? I already posted to the 'New to the hobby' thread, but that has tons of posts already.

Heh...I'm smirking at your 'bacon' references. You'd like the group I go camping with. At one event last summer, we (a girlfriend and I) decided to cook bacon for everyone sitting by the campfire about 11:00pm one night. (There were about 20 people.) I think we cooked up about 6 lbs of bacon, all cooked on a Coleman stove. The guys were all in heaven! I recently was coerced into trying bacon-flavored peanut brittle. It was pretty darned good.

I'm happy to have found you guys!

Cheers,
Starr

Just start a new thread in this section so this particular group that is in your area has a better chance of seeing it than out in the busy threads of the main site. Welcome to the forums!

MMMM, 6 lbs of Bacon! Now I'm hungry again. :D

Here's a link to my progression shots, guess I'm gonna have to get off my butt and get the tank cleaned up to take some current ones, looks like it's been a while.
